When I got my bike, years ago, it was a Honda 350. Back then, that bike was a street bike. I really wanted a Harley but couldn't afford one. So I took my little Honda to Broadway Harley Davidison in St. Louis and told them "make it run like a Sportster." They did and I rode with my Harley friends, all who wondered why my little Honda was soooooo fast. Be careful my friend. There are people out there who have no respect for someone on a bike. But earn that respect by riding sensibly. Keep the rubber side down. Wear the helmet and leathers and HAVE A BALL.

Congrats James, and unlike the gentlemen in the picture be sure to always were protective gear or clothing. Especaily the clothing, maybe you'll break a bone, but a least you'll still have your skin. The clothing is the best part I want to get one really pimp riding outfit. Including boots, gloves, leather jacket, pants, helmet etc it will be about $1,500 but its worth it. My blue bike, blue helmet and blue riding outfit are gonna be so sweet

OK, FF...here's another champ that dropped his rig... Can you pick out a few mistakes the dude made? I have not posted here a lot but I have read probably just about everything. Learned a whole bunch. Anyway crashed my Z in Westeren Virginia. I am from the praries and don't get to see roads like that very often. I had been riding the corners pretty hard earlier in the day but I was probably into my 6th hour of riding or so (thank you corbin) and was feeling kinda tired so I was taken it easy. Anyway started a corner at 55mph (speed limit) but the sign was out and it was only a 15mph curve. Got on the brakes while heading for an opening in the gaurd rails figured anything was better than hitting the gaurd rails. When I slowed down enough that I thought I could make the corner let off the brakes (I thought) and started to turn. Must've still been on the back brake and lost it. It had also just rained and there was coal dust all over the road so it was kinda slick. Went through that opening and thought it was gonna hurt a lot because I was expecting to hit trees and shrubs and stuff but the opening turned out to be someones lane. It was pretty steep though, they only use it for going down. So basically I ended up in their front yard and got up and walked away. I was wearing full gear, this is the only reason I didn't have any injuries. Not even a scratch or a bruise. Pants had some good scuffs on the left butcheek though. The people who live in the yard came out to see if I was okay and let me use their phone and were super nice but not overly surprised. I guess that sign has been out for a while and not replaced so this happens to them quite often. In any case I probably should have been riding slower on roads I didn't know.
