No Cam, nothing so melodramatic. That, to me, is how far back the crap goes - over 4,000 years at least, probably closer to 5,000
If the Old Testament [KJA version] is even a reasonably accurate portrayal of Jewish History - as recorded by themselves - they are far from being innocent or blameless.

Even God got so pissed off with them He was going to wipe them out on more than occasion and only pleading by Moses saved those who eventually survived.
Then, instead saying thank you and living in peace and tranquility, they continued to rail against Him so He eventually blew them away with the Diaspora scattering them all over the world. In one way, this at least served to keep the faith alive.
I don't know, but I get the feeling from time to time that while 1948 was expedient for Britain, I really wonder if that was the allotted time in God's timetable for Israel to be re-formed for the final time.
If it was then is He still pissed at them?
If it was not then the present state will collapse one way or another, but only God knows when.
