It's therefore up to us, as liberals, to show America that we can be just as "charitible" with our own money as we can with everyone else's. That being said, there are several noteworthy progressive causes that deserve our support.
In this time of unprecedented pain and suffering, it's important to have one's priorities straight. That's why Planned Parenthood of America will be distributing free contraceptives to survivors of Hurricane Katrina, along with a coupon for 30% off their next abortion. Perhaps they think "God" will forgive their years of anti-tax initiatives and SUV-driving with a few million dollars in blood money. Anyway, Ollie will be setting up a booth outside his home this weekend, and anyone who wants to drop by and pressure-wash his back for a good cause is more than welcome.
