from bounce:Extraordinary. Yes, I see that it's paraphrasing and yet... You really believe this is the prevailing view of all Democrats? You honestly believe that the majority of Democrats not only feel this way, but have campaigned and publicly accused Republicans of this?
In a word, "YES!"
You know what? Never mind. If thinking this way is what you need to maintain your unwavering loyalty to the Republican Party, then have at it. But if these notions were even a whiff of what Democrats are saying about Republicans, I wouldn't support them.
I absolutely have to comment on this one. I need to tell you, I do NOT unwaveringly support the Republicans. I think the party has fucked up a LOT of things. They're spending WAY too much money. They ARE NOT SERIOUS about securing our borders. We have WAY too many republicans who try to act like democrats so as to get good press coverage.
I am more of a "conservative" than a "republican." Actually I am practically a ZELL MILLER democrat (as funny as that may sound)! I don't study the man, but I haven't heard him say anything I don't agree with.
If this were true, and Democrats did nothing to help Republicans try to secure this nation against threats, you wouldn't even have your stupid fucking war.
The words "your stupid fucking war" tell all. It's AMERICA'S war and it's hardly "stupid." You sound like Packer - lol.
I haven't seen a single instance of a Democratic politician showing baseless opposition to a Bush Administration security policy. I don't know of any time that a Democrat has been difficult or combative just for the sake of being partisan.
LOL... this is laughable. It happens all the goddamned time Just to use a recent event as an example... Did you not see or hear the crap that was said at Coretta's funeral?
Jimmy Carter threw out baseless bullshit phrases of "wiretapping" in an effort to stoke the anti-Bush fire (for something Robert Kennedy did BTW). The mindless partisan attack didn't work, but a few weeks ago Harry Reid announced, "We've KILLED the Patriot act." Shit that Murtha says clearly has a demoralizing effect on the troops.
The bullshit phrase, "We support the troops, but we don't support what they're doing there and we don't support the Commander in Chief" is obviously demoralizing.
John Kerry saying that our troops are terrorizing innocent Iraqis... it's fucking shameful!
What do you think our troops think when they hear: "Our troops have been there for years and the place is still a mess." That's one hell of a pat on the back now isn't it?
Dick Durbin said that he wanted to investigate OUR TROOPS for torture and flushing a Koran down the shitter. Yeah, that really helps our cause now doesn't it.
The average daily quote out of the average idiot democrat politician is shameful and clearly demoralizing.
So, you say they're not difficult or combative just for the sake of being partisan? Bull shit. That's ALL IT IS!
You keep missing the point of the arguments Democrats make, and then blame us for blocking. If you're not listening, that's your problem. But Democrats will continue to speak their minds, point out where Republicans are making mistakes, and argue to protect rights that are threatened by Republican actions.
Hey, by all means! I WANT you guys to speak your minds!!!!
What you haven't figured out yet is that you're hurting yourselves everytime you do.
And the Republicans are using that as well, bounce! To gain political leverage!! You really need to pay closer attention to what's being said by Republican politicians, man. Just this week, Bush suddenly releases news that there was apparently a plot three years ago to drive a plane into a building in Los Angeles on the VERY SAME DAY the Attorney General testifies before a congressional inquiry into the legality of wire tapping.
Three years ago, bounce! And he's just now, on that day, telling us. What happened to our ORANGE ALERT then?? Why is it so important to shove out an unsubstantiated story of a near-miss on that particular day? I guess that's just a coincidence, huh?
You don't expect Bush to give you a daily report do you? So it happened three years ago? So what? I'm not sure why you would see that as a big problem.
Here's the bottom line, America doesn't mind if Bush listens in to people in this country talking to terrorists overseas! Why would you?
Oh, this is trure. Stronger leaders on our side would definately change the climate.
Stronger leaders??? What good would ANY change in the leadership do with no plan? I LOVE YOUR LEADERS!
But don't go getting too high and mighty with your "Bush doesn't have to beat you" stuff. Bush has barely beaten ANY Democrat at ANYTHING!
My point EXACTLY!!!! Bush doesn't have to.
I mean, come on, bounce! He lost the popular vote against Al Gore, and then scraped by beating (of all people) John Kerry!
EXACTLY! See, we agree after all!
You nominated two of the worst possible candidates. Fortunately, you guys manage to keep setting the bar just low enough for Bush to step across.
Re-read: He barely beat John Kerry, dude. This is not something to be proud of.
That's what's so funny about Hillary saying, "They're doing it to us again."
When your party's platform for America's future is, "Bush sucks," you can plan on it happening again and again.
Like I said to begin with, "It's obvious."

I'm not concerned about that (be it true or not) because Bush is just 24 months from being a lame duck. We'll see that all this means for both parties then.
Look, here's the bottom line the way I see it... Bush isn't necessarily winning. He has screwed up so many things I find it hard to count them all.
It's you who keep LOSING IN SPITE of his mistakes. The astounding thing to me is that you can't see why.
I hear your party leaders say, "Bush is a liar and a dolt, but he is doing it to us again" and I have to laugh.
I am more than happy for the Left to speak their message as loudly as possible. It's generally vicious and mean-spirited. It's rarely anything other than what was chanted during the last two election cycles (which you guys lost). The rant didn't work before and yet we're hearing it again. I think that's wonderful!
For the Left to put forward people like Ray "chocolate city school bus" Nagin," Cindy "I love Hugo Chavez" Sheehan, Teddy "Bush is a liar" Kennedy, John "I'm NOT George Bush" Kerry and Hillary "I couldn't crack a smile if my political life depended on it" Clinton as sterling representations of what your party stands for and then wail that Bush is doing it to us again.... it's hilarious!
