I'd like to expand on my very first answer. I don't think ALL DEMOCRATS think that way. Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman probably don't. I do think it's the prevailing view of the party leadership, however.

It's a shining example of what I'm talking about. kos has become a sounding board for the Kennedy and Kerry wing of the party.

It is little more than vicious, venomous, hate-filled bile. Some of the posters are very intelligent, but they're just nut-cases and conspiracy theorists for the most part.

I think people like the kossacks have literally hijacked the party out from under people like Lieberman and Miller. They like to use words like "progressive." We're "Progressive." "Progressive" means angry, hate-filled and vicious I guess. All of this is OK with me by the way. I'm not complaining.

One difference between us is that when I made a few posts on kos, I was booted in less than one day. You however, wouldn't be booted from here at all and I enjoy your willingness to stand up and offer a different point of view.

When I was posting on THC, conservative posts disappeared almost immediately, whereas the liberal ones didn't.

The Outpost is very tolerant. Kos is not. The DU is not. THC is not.

Ya Dean's campaign manager Joe Trippi was the first one to use the Internet to organize a grass roots campaign to raise money and volunteers. I don't recall if Dean had some funny stuff going on with someone playing with the campaign cash. He raised his money like I said on the web but he still needed to raise cash from traditional donors as his campaign chest was spent. I think he did well over the web due to all the moonbat anti-war crowd, but once that money was spent he was screwed. I'll check into it see what I can dig up.

About the Black Churches Burning thing...

If you do a google you will see tons of references to it being said. Some give credit to Ted Kennedy, some give credit to Bill Clinton and yet others say it was part of a DNC ad campaign.

Here is one specific reference to the Missouri DNC having used it. This paragraph is way down at the bottom of the article in the link. The article is just too long to post here, but here is the part I was referring to:
