Well that is news to my ears. The southern third of Somalia was looking more and more like it was in the early stages of becoming either another Afghanistan, or worse, another Iran.
The Ethiopian troops have run of the militia and retaken some towns that the militia had taken. With this in play it should give the UN-backed government a better barganing position
