No, I was thinking about him the other day. Damn I hope nothing happened to him! I'll have to give Zuni a call - I think he has his phone number. I think Packer is doing fine, Mike. I still see him on Bob's emailing list. Too bad he hasn't come back here to duke it out with me. Probably busy with those few hundred grandchildren.  Later. That's exactly what he's doing. I emailed him a few weeks back and read him out for avoiding us. He said he was doing a lot of family stuff this summer and would be back to make Mario's life miserable when he was all through with it. |

I wanted to join the military ever since I was a teen, but they told me I was 4F... here's a brain twister for you guys: I don't support the war, but if I was able to join the army I still would.  In a year or two they might rethink not letting me join, so we'll see what happens... If not there's always the feds! It takes courage to want to join any of the services. Personally, I'd recommend the Air Force, even though 2 of my children joined the US Marines. And just what is THAT supposed to mean? That the Air Force is full of cowards? |

There's always the CIA too. HAHA My friend wanted to be an Air Force Combat Controller, but didn't want to try for the marines because he thought it might be too hard  Yea that's what I'm goin out for - AF Combat Controller. They get to parachute into enemy territory and secure the area so that they can call in air support. Sounds like fun to me |

My father was a Combat FAC in Korea with the USAF. Our oldest son is an AC with the USN. He just completed a rotation with the 11th Marine RECON as a combat AC. He is now a tower jockey hoping to make OCS for LDO and then NFO. He really wants backseat on the AE-18.

Actually you're right  I'm the ONLY ONE here on this board, which means I'm liable to get ganged up on to the point of being unidentifiable ;D Don't try and talk tough, I don't see YOU on the democratic underground. I know a lot of marines like to join AFCC because they have better benefits. |
