Hah. The current events board doesn't even COMPARE with the Iraqi Freedom board. Holy shit, that board is a HELLHOLE. First, people respond VERY quickly, which is somewhat rare on the CE board, unless you're on at about 8 pm EST. But if you're on at 8 pm EST on the Iraqi Freedom board, it's like instant messaging. That's why I rarely visit that board, let alone post there. I prefer my discussions a little more sedate, like the WWII board for instance.
