Another refugee as it were from the wonderful world of THC. ;-)
Dan is my name, and as is the case for several of us, I'm a vet, to some degree. Still am earning my stripes, but that comes with the territory.

I do apoligize for the lack of posts and rsponses. Just seemed to get sidetracked with the job here. That and games seems to keep me busy.
And SFC LL does know me.
Moniker over at THC is Santee Ordrin.
And LL, I'm not at Eggers. I'm actually at the Embassy. ;-)
And for everyone's information, Santee comes from a coupla different sources. Not over on the West Coast mind you, except if the purty thing docked there, but was primarily East Coast. Ever here of the area of the US where the Swamp Fox hung his hat? They named a Jeep Carrier after the area as well.

After I posted that and looked up your email address I realised you at the Embassy and not at Peanut Counters Central AKA Camp Eggers. :-)

As in the Santee Cooper reservoir, yes? And thanks for your work. Nah, not the Santee Cooper Reservoir. Man some folks have the West Coast on hte brain. Someone needs to bone up on their Revolutionary War History. Ever hear of Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox? Look him up and where he did most of his campaigning. Also it is taken from the USS Santee, a Jeep Carrier from WW2 that did ASW work in the Atlantic before being transferred to the Pacific in time to take part in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. And LL, I'm glad I'm not there. Hey, visited your locale on Thursday and you had headed off for a bit. Gettin ready?

Had to run to BAF. You know how fun that can be. Funny how a fourty mile trip can turn into an all day affair.
Gettin ready? You know it brother! :-)
