"I wouldn't call knee dragging at 50-60mph on a 40mph road to be unsafe."
Your State Patrol would disagree.
"Regardless, if I'm going to keep riding the way I have over these past three months, I am going to have to get rid of my stock tires."
If you keep riding the way you have for the past three months, you're going to be replacing more than a set of tires.
Also, If your insurance company doesn't drop you, your rates are going to go through the roof.
A word to the wise should be sufficient.

I agree
My rear tire: Bridgestone BT020 180/55ZR17M/C...where:
180 = section width (mm) 55 = aspect ration; "Aspect Ratio" equals the height/width x 100 Z = speed rating; Z= 149MPH+(240KPH+) R = radial tire 17 = rim diameter M/C - dunno...MotorCycle?
Anyway...I am certain you have Z rated tires.
My ole Ninja came stock with Dunlop Z rated tires in 1985 and every sport bike I've purchased since has come stock with the same rated...and actually about the fastest I ever got on the track was about 150 on the longest straight, downhill with a tail wind.
Ahem....
Fair enough...I try and stay outta DC.

My insurance company will most likely drop me after this crash but the dealer said he will try and hook me up with another company if that happens. Plus my Aunt works for State Farm and they have the best rates in the country so I'm gonna try and get with them.
The insurance company I have is really crappy (they insure gear for sports bikes but only those with more than 700c....basically they hate the typical Jap 600cc bike) and I wanna drop them anyway.

"basically they hate the typical Jap 600cc bike."
There's a reason for that.
Care to guess what it is?

The GSX-R600? Nah, I know it's the most "squidly" (I hate using that word) bike class out there. Even more so than the liter bikes. Well you three should be happy to hear that I've talked to some of the guys and they all agree that I need to chill out. So when I get my bike back I'm going to take it much slower. The majority of them said that they didn't try aggressive riding until at least 10K miles and that I'm way too new to be doing that shit. So I'm just gonna get it back and enjoy the ride but not ride it hard. I'll save up money to get my bike track ready and buy full leathers. My personality is such that I only learn the hard way. I'm glad that God taught me the hard way without hurting me too much.

Now it sinks in...sheesh We are just glad you're safe FF....and that the only real damage incurred was to your wallet (and maybe some to the ego). Master the fundamentals first my two wheeled brethren…then work and develop cautiously from there.

Why didn't we think of that? We must not be that sharp anymore, 101 - we used to have better answers faster back in the old days...

Here's where I am (from your article):
"there's a nagging voice in your head. "Whoa, look at the dirt. What if that car pulls out in front of me? Does that guy see me?"
That nagging voice, that through the years, and experiences, has kept you alive.

Confidence shows as 'skill.' Over-confidence, however, can kill. The difference between the two, of course, is that being confident means you know you can do something, being over-confident means you think you can.
