Ron Paul has as much chance of being elected as Dennis Kucinich.
Think snowballs in Hell.

Even if he can't win, I'm hoping that he can change the national discourse much like Howard Dean did. He might not have a chance at winning but he's very popular on the internet like Howard Dean was before becoming a major factor in the primaries.

I think he definitly added a different point of view in the first Republican debate. I don't agree with most of what he said, but it's nice to hear from all sides even if it's a debate among members of the same party.

Mario, I agree with you on Ron Paul. I believe that if he gets elected there will be a bloodbath in the MidEast. I have heard that Thompson is a direct competitor of Brownback. For those in power that want Brownback out of the picture, they put in Thompson. ? Guiliani is the pits. I will never vote for a pro-abort. Romney looks like a movie star and is very intelligent. He has a way of talking that is very appealing. But he is wishywashy about abortion. It should be expected that if he wants to win, he has got to come out very pro-life. He hasn't. I also think a man's religion is very important. This is his "bottom line". Every decision he makes comes one way or the other from this bottom line. (Of course this holds only if he really has faith in his religion, unlike Guiliani). I like Brownback. He is very pro-life and doesn't mind saying so. I don't know how he would be on other issues, but I do like him. Cataracts Cat If the illegal alien issue concerns you, Brownback rates an F for his voting record. He's very liberal in that regard. Since the presidential office might seriously effect that issue (and very unlikely to effect abortion laws) that is the reason why I would not be for Brownback. Hi Merc, For the first time in my history of voting, I really don't like anyone. Brownback is pro-life, but what else is he? He doesn't come across as a strong man. If I had to guess everyone of them is manipulated. Where are the good men? Why aren't they up there? Is someone else pulling the strings? Am I going crackers? C.

Hi Merc, For the first time in my history of voting, I really don't like anyone. Brownback is pro-life, but what else is he? Brownback is an insane evangelical who thinks its our obligation to help out literally everyone else in the world. He also rejects evolution and wants (Un)Intelligent Design taught in classrooms. He's a complete whack job. You'd like him.
