Illegal immigration and security of the United States goes hand in hand. I would dare to say that with illegal immigrants come undesirable elements such as terrorists. Our politicians either they don't want or are ignorant of the fact that time is not on our side but on the side of the terrorists. Does a terrorist need to be of Middle Eastern decent. Absolutely no. What I see that more dangerous are our own US converts to the radical muslim religion. When we think about terrorist acts, we think about explosions of large magnitude. The the other side of terrorism such as hostage taking. Does anybody remembers what happen in Beslan? Anybody remembers Chechens. Many Chechen look no different than you and I. Who drives your school busses and how many foreign nationals drives them. How well are our children protected in the school? How many city gangs would sell their lives for extra dope and/or weapons plus money. Beside the real terrorist treat, there is an another problem. How many illegals coming to the US are not vaccinated? Just imagine that somebody with open TB without knowing comes to the border town of population let say 200,000. Imagine if the TB spreads just at a medium rate, how many people could be affected, To add to it the strain on our medical system. I am sure that our democratic and some republican candidates never thought of it. Just imagine what would happen if influenza, cholera, etc. would struck. We cannot just focus on the Middle Eastern terrorists, we need to focus on everybody. As for myself I support profilling and I don't care what ACLU says, because they would be just as affected by these events just like anybody else.

As far as the medical question is concerned, legal immigrants undergo a medical examination upon arrival. Obviously, illegal immigrants by the inherent nature of being "illegal" do not undergo this same examination upon arrival. In order to make that kind of system accountable, it is necessary for people entering the country to come through legitimate pathways. Making visas available for anyone desiring to enter the country (with restrictions placed on criminals, terrorist watch lists, etc) will encourage people to enter the country legitimately and therefore subject them to medical examination upon arrival. As it is now, the immigration system encourages people who desire to enter the country to avoid our institutions and therefore we cannot maintain accountability.

Peter, I agree with you. An unsecured border is nothing but BAD for the USA.
Some of the moonbats on this board are able to convince themselves that the easiest way to stop crime is to simply do away with the law.
In the realm of the moonbat, that's the kind of shit that passes for legitimate thought and common sense.

You're right. An unsecured border is bad for America. But immigration is not a security issue. Nor is there any significant military or terrorist threat on the border. The last time a significant military presence was deployed on the border, they shot and killed an American citizen. Is that the kind of policy you advocate?
Anyways - you still have failed to 1) provide me the quotes I asked for and 2) dispute the failure of institutions to maintain accountability of illegal immigrants.

And yet you completely failed to dispute the statements. You're welcome to try again and 1) provide an argument that immigration is a security issue, 2) that Mexico or Canada pose a significant military or terrorist threat, and 3) dig up the body of Esequiel Hernandez and demonstrate that his grave is empty.

You're welcome to try again and 1) provide an argument that immigration is a security issue, 2) that Mexico or Canada pose a significant military or terrorist threat, and 3) dig up the body of Esequiel Hernandez and demonstrate that his grave is empty. You have never made a statement on this issue that can't be seen as pathetic and delusional moronic moonbattery a mile away. Let me educate you and I'll do my best not to expose you as the BLITHERING IDIOT that you are. The 9-11 hijackers came in to this country LEGALLY and several actually had driver's licenses. Most of them had B1/B2 (business/tourist) Visas and one had a student visa. Through the motor-voter legislation, they were actually allowed to register to vote. Let's see, ummmmm, I think that pretty well blows the FUCK out of your "immigration is not a security issue" premise. OK, on to #2. You say that Canada and Mexico don't pose a threat to our national security. That's a mindless statement - which fits right in with your moonbattery. The point is that an unsecured border DOES INDEED pose a significant threat to our national security. To prevent further humiliation and embarrassment, it might be wise to educate yourself before opening your mouth in the future. Here's a good place to start: www.libertypost.org/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=156005As for your mindless and moronic third point, maybe you can write each and every family that lost someone on 9-11 - this should only be about 3000 letters or so (do you remember what happened on 9-11?) and explain to them how an open border and an amnesty bill will make what's left of their families even safer. You are really embarrassing yourself with your mindless bullshit.

It's interesting that you have chosen NOT to respond to the points proving that you are a moron.
Instead, you attempt to obfuscate and dilute your embarrassment and shame with even more mindless quotations.
Nice try.
Too bad you aren't learning anything.
