La. family rescues abducted mother from kidnap suspect, police say
A Duson woman allegedly kidnapped by the father of her child has been found alive but the man suspected of taking her is dead.
Authorities had been searching for Scott Thomas, 29, of Leonville, since Wednesday when he arrived at a daycare center and confronted Bethany Arceneaux, 29.
Thomas allegedly forced Arceneaux into his vehicle and drove away. Her 2-year-old child was left inside her car at the daycare.
