Funny stuff, the countries that are the most like the Democratic ideal also don't have a minimum wage. Just like most of the mixed economies in the world use Keynesian Economies, they implemented Minimum wage laws. What the average moron doesn't understand is that this is neither better for the economy or the people in the economy, it instead continually drives up all wages therefore allowing the countries that have it to claim higher and higher taxes. It is counterproductive. To believe in a Keynesian or dare I say Marxist ideal, is to ignore Adam Smith who said that the invisible hand will make all things as they should be. Too many things debunk Keynes, only one was able to even offer a salient revision to Smith. In Short, just because many countries make the same mistake doesn't make it correct.
