Agreed.
Have any of you attempted to deliberately destroy a PC hard-drive? I have, I had one go south on me several years ago and so replaced it. Because there was personal information on it I tried to break into it so I could destroy the disk inside. Very difficult, they're made rugged.
This statement from the IRS is BS. That hard drive may be gone, but the drives on the Servers aren't and I'm willing to bet there are numerous backups that the IT guys can milk info from, more than the Administration can guarantee wiped or destroyed. AND there are the computers sitting on the desks of the people she would have sent emails to that probably would still have recoverable records on them.
