Odd how when it's a Repub issue in the spotlight a special prosecutor is considered a good investment, at least by Dems and their supporters.
Empower a prosecutor, this allowing the IRS to investigate itself is like allowing Al Capone to investigate himself.

It appears to me (sorry for the late posting of this opinion) that the Dems are probably worried that the trail of bread crumbs may lead a special prosecutor all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania. If that proves true Obama may suffer the same fate as Nixon, a choice between being impeached or resigning in disgrace.

The party out of office ALWAYS thinks they are a good idea, the party in office ALWAYS DOESN'T. When it comes to special prosecutors, the attacking party always thinks they're a good idea, and the party under attack always doesn't. It's amazing, you know, how much the two major parties have in common in reality....
