According to Edward Klein's new book, Blood Feud, former President Bill Clinton is considering having his body interred at Arlington National Cemetery.

The revelation comes in a cynical exchange recounted in Klein's book that shows the former president suggesting that his health and possible death would have a positive impact on his wife's presidential campaign. The New York Post published the excerpt:


“Obviously, you have to have a big state funeral for me, with as much pomp and circumstance as possible,” he said. “I’m thinking maybe I should be buried at Arlington [National Cemetery] rather than at my library in Little Rock. After all, I was commander in chief for eight years and have every right to be buried at Arlington.”

If burial at his Presidential Library was good enough for Ronald Reagan (and eventually Nancy) then it should be good enough for Bill and eventually his "ever loving" Hillary.

I dont think any President, Democratic or Republican or otherwise, should be buried at Arlington, unless he has served on active duty with distinction (or was assassinated, like Kenndy.) Kennedy and William Howard Taft are the only two U.S. presidents buried at Arlington.

And speaking of Democrats, if Franklin Roosevelt ain't buried at Arlington after being an undersecretary of the navy and leading the nation through the greatest conflict in human history, then Bill Clinton DAMNED sure shouldn't be.

And that's all I have to say about that.
