Another night of rioting in Ferguson, MO.

A demonstration that began quietly erupted into rampaging and looting early Saturday on the streets of Ferguson, Mo., where police in heavy gear and armored vehicles confronted more than 100 protesters near the place where Michael Brown, an 18-year-old black man, had been shot dead by police..

While peaceful demonstrators tried to dissuade them, even attempting to block shop fronts with their bodies, small groups of looters smashed windows and rushed into several stores, grabbing merchandise. Police in riot gear shouted on bullhorns, ordering them to disperse.

Riot duty is the worst there is.

The people you are facing are not some foreign enemy but your own citizens.

Jay Nixon ordered National Guard troops to the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson early Monday after authorities used tear gas to clear the streets of protesters hours before a midnight curfew took effect for a second consecutive day, while a private autopsy on the unarmed black teen who was fatally shot by a white police officer reportedly showed six gunshot wounds, including two in the head.

Let's hope order can be restored before it gets any further out of hand.

It would probably be a good idea to ID and arrest the instigators from out of town who are only there incite further unrest.

Well, the Governor ordered the Guard in and suspended the curfew.

Sounds like a mixed message to me but let's see how it plays out.

Not well apparently 101. 31 people arrested, two are shot, and four officers are injured by rocks and bottles. Capt Johnson stated that police hadn't fire a shot though his officers have "come under heavy gunfire." At least 2 seized handguns and a molotov cocktail were displayed at a press conference.

On previous nights gunmen were seen on top of buildings, not ID'd as police and protesters were shot in what I think are attempts to provoke greater violence.

I believe the claims that many if not most of the rioters are coming from outside that community. Police have noted that many of the arrested ARE from outside Ferguson. These people are using Brown's death as an excuse for riot and pillage and won't stop on their own. - Capt Obvious.

Unless the PD has their heads completely up their asses, they should be able to ID the instigators, isolate and arrest.

I hope Gov. Nixon gets his ass handed to him in his next election.

He should be arrested for felony stupid
