Heh. And THAT, sir, is as close to a New Year's Eve Party as I ever got this year!

Likewise. Our big night was lying in bed & watching the ball drop.
Woo-hoo!

kind of interesting that even though on other topics there is a whole bunch of varied opinions, when it comes to hitting the hay early on new years eve, we pretty much all agree. My personal assessment? Age trumps politics.
Many moons ago, while still but a callow youth, we would ring in the new year in the town where i lived. Then we would all jump in our cars, run 8 miles up the road to the next town and do it all again. Benefits of living next to a time zone change, I suppose. So I figure that jumping in the sack and saying to hell with the festivities is just fine - just getting things back to where they ought to be.
Hope you all had a good holiday season, whether it be Christmas, Hannukah, new years or anything else that can be celebrated this time of year.
