Now, for your information, this isn't just a Denver thing. I've enjoyed restaurant week in New York, Chicago and San Francisco in addition to the many times that I've gone the Denver route.
In Denver the price used to be $52.80 per couple (think mile high city) but last year went up to 60 bucks per couple. In Denver there are probably over 200 high end places that take part in this promotion - maybe more in other cities. Menus are extremely varied and encompass just about every type of cuisine that you can imagine. Check it out where you live.
Now to the point of this little post
Hey Warrior!!!!! Going way back to the HC boards I've tried to get in touch and meet somewhere. Never happened, for whatever reason. Well, you want to try giving it a go? Meet somewhere for dinner? Hell, I'll even spring for the tab. Give me a date when you'll be available, grab the wife and lets do it. The worst that can happen is that we will discover that we hate each others guts, but will still get to enjoy a good meal, regardless of the consequences. Just one rule, however, no political talk!
Let me know and I'll reserve a table.
