Warrior, I understand you guys are getting more snow. I know it's not unusual at your latitude and altitude for this time of year. Just count your blessings and be careful. Oh, yeah. And you ought to hear me yell at people who bitch about that rain and snow. It's amazing, you know? These same people are the ones who wonder why Colorado si doing all right in spite of the drought, and California is frying in it's own bodyfat. Down here in the metro area we have been getting an inch or two of snow mixed with rain, so little that the ground is so warm that the stuff melts the same day. it isn't even slowing down traffic, for God's sake.
The mountains have been getting feet where we get inches, and that's where we need it most for our water and for the skiing that is such a large part of our economy. Just think, you could be in fire season already like a lot of California is and has been for a couple of years now. All too true. We'll have to see what cards we are dealt when the weather turns warm.

In comparison to California our ground is saturated and more rain is expected late today and over night. *Sigh* My lawn looks shaggy after only 2 days and there's so much pollen in the air it looks like all the cars on the block have been sprayed green overnight. We went from COLD and wet to warm and wet.

Our weather has been mild lately, but unpredicatble. It seems as if the West is getting roasted in a drought while the East is setting new records for precipitation.
Weird stuff, man.
Really weird stuff.
