I'm sure you all have heard this by now, but what are your thoughts on the proposed deal. I'm curious as to why we need to give the Iranians a 14 day advanced notice before inspecting suspected Nuclear sites. Given that the 14 day period is just a request, Iran can further delay access to the site giving them 24 total days to do whatever with the material at the site.
Is this really the best we could do in exchange for the lifting of sanctions? For a regime which constantly claims their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, doesn't it raise more then a few red flags when they demand this much time of advanced warning?
Secondly is the lift on the UN ban on weapons transfers possibly by five years and the lift on ballistic missile technology by eight years. The Iranian regime is citing the threat posed by ISIS and regional terrorist groups for the eventual weapons transfers. What threat do they face which should allow them to also have ballistic missile technology?
And of course there are still three, possibly four, Americans being detained within Iran for no cause...
I am hopeful this turns out alright because there is little choice but to be otherwise, but is this the best we could do? If this is the best deal they would agree to, what was the harm in breaking off talks and letting them continue to languish under sanctions?

It will be interesting to see what fruit this seed bears in a decade or so, that's for sure.
