James Holmes is sentenced.

It doesn't repair the horror he created, the lives he took, or the damage that was done. But then, in truth, no sentence does.

But he will never see the light of day as a free man again. The judge simply did everything he could, short of imposing the death penalty.


I'm satisfied.

Then that's all that can be asked. Lock him away deep in that prison and forget about him. The next news anyone should ever hear about him again is his passing and have people ask ... "who?"
