Bill Clinton blames Republicans, media for extending wife Hillary's email controversy
Former President Bill Clinton is blaming Republicans and the media for the controversy related to wife and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s email controversy, saying the GOP has led a “full-scale frontal assault” on her campaign.
Clinton entered the race as the clear party front-runner. But her poll and favorability numbers have dropped since news broke in March that she used a private server and email accounts for official business while serving as secretary of state.
“I have never seen so much expended on so little,” the former president said in an interview aired Sunday on CNN. “The other party doesn’t want to run against her. And if they do, they’d like her as mangled up as possible.”
Clinton has maintained that she didn’t break any rules or laws by using the private system, but admits she made a mistake in judgment and has said she is sorry, in an effort to bury the controversy.

Of course Hillary claims none of the material in her emails was marked as classified. Her problem is that as Secretary of State she was certainly aware of how sensitive the things she was "talking" about actually was, that it was certain to be classified even if her electronic storage and the papers the emails may have actually been printed on were not "marked" in the big BOLD RED letters top and bottom most of us are familiar with. She's playing with words, another "depends on what the meaning of 'is' is" thing.
It's certain to me that as Secretary of State, if she didn't understand then she's too dumb to know how to pour water out of a boot even with instructions printed on the bottom of the heel, or be President of the U.S.
If she did know or understand then she deserves to inhabit a 10 X 10 foot cell for 10 years or so. Just my opinion of course, I have only 20+ years in the intelligence community to draw on.
