"How much damage can he do in his last year in office? Insidiously and inadvertently, Barack Obama is alienating the people and moving the country to the right. If he keeps it up, by 2017 it will be a reactionary nation. But, counterintuitive as it seems, that is fine with Obama: Après nous le déluge. By sheer force of his personality, Obama has managed to lose the Democratic Senate and House. State legislatures and governorships are now predominantly Republican. Obama’s own favorable ratings rarely top 45 percent. In his mind, great men, whether Socrates or Jesus, were never appreciated in their time. So it is not surprising that he is not, as he presses full speed ahead." Read more at: www.nationalreview.com/article/427522/obamas-most-dangerous-year

I told you so, a long time before the conservative media did.
Hillary will NOT be elected.
A REPUBLICAN WILL BE, TOGETHER WITH A REPUBLICAN SENATE AND HOUSE.
Seriously.
And it already IS a "reactionary nation".
That's precisely why Trump is ahead in the polls.

A few issues with this "logic." First, the electoral map favors the Dem candidate. They will have New York and California, and most of the north east automatically. Follow that up by Virginia going blue in the last decade and the Republicans are left needing to run a clean sweep of the rest of the South, including Florida, along with getting Ohio to even be considered running close in the election. Secondly, a few years back what YOU said was their needed to be a Republican moderate in order for the election to be one. That you now recognize this to be a silly argument is nothing special. Thirdly, what is this about a "reactionary nation?" Trump has been leading the polls almost since day one of entering the race. He's in the lead because of Conservative anger at a being called racist, sexist, bigoted, and extremist for daring to have a different opinion. It never mattered who the Republicans put up, the fact they had a different opinion automatically made them extremists. The fact the Republcians have lined up against Trump, a guy calling out media bias, is nothing surprising. The fact the media and the dems haven't been able to shut him up just makes him more endearing. Still not my first choice, but it is nice to be on offense for a change. -DD

I agree with warrior, unless they screw the pooch very badly the election should go the way he says. Frankly though, Trump is not my first, 2nd or even 3rd choice but I'll take him over any of the top 3 Democrats running right now. I might have considered Webb but he's no longer in the race, I WOULD have voted for him in the Dem primary.
