We're still thawing out and (as usual) waiting for the Sun to clear the roads, Virginia Beach doesn't own a snowplow.
Norfolk VA airport reported 7 inches of white crap by the time the storm moved out on Thursday afternoon but I had to clear a full foot off my car and drifts got to be about 2 1/2 feet.
It's not the worst snow we've ever gotten (nearly 2 feet in one night about 7 or 8 years ago) but combined with record cold made life nasty and dangerous, under 15 degrees overnight for the last week or so. But now temps should stay above freezing for the next week, up to 70 on Friday.
I'm stiff and sore from all the digging, getting too old for this shit. If I wanted cold and snow I'd have moved back to Michigan after getting out of the Canoe Club.
