Hello 101!!!
It's great to see you after way too long and hope you can get TC, Warrior and our other old friends to come back and enjoy some discussion here.
I never went to FB because, being a more reserved sort of person, posting for an audience of millions never appealed to me. I'm hoping that the troubles there will motivate others of us to see the sense in sharing our thoughts with each other in a less public domain where the thought police and other attention deprived trolls will be less inclined toward participation.
Moving along, please know that I am eagerly looking forward to posting with you again and hope all is well with you and your family and that you will enjoy a very pleasant Memorial Day Weekend.

It's great to "see" you too again, TC, and thank you for keeping my dad's picture. I'm still misty-eyed from reading your reply and I know my dad would thank you too.
Smiling at the thought that he was a died in the wool GOP and my mother was a D from birth in Tennessee. They made it work. Why can't the D's? LOL
And 101, I hear your words about FB all the time from folks around here. You can't argue against it as a family gathering type place, that's for sure.
One fun stat about social media that was released a week or so ago is the discovery that 90% of noxious blather on Twitter is put there by only 10% of the posters.
I've wondered since whether the anti-DJT cohort in politics and the media are submitting their noxious diatribes against us with a very small public opinion sample presumably justifying their 90% uber-negative coverage of the POTUS.
It could well explain why they were wrong about the outcome in 2016 and may well be again in 2020. And in everything they are reporting about DJT and us throughout this period.
For example, this morning, CNN is reporting that DJT's staffers feel like they are "captives" on AF One trips overseas. They are reportedly complaining that he watches TV and calls them in to discuss what he sees no matter the time, and that he insisted on a FOX stream when he discovered in one country that it wasn't available on TV.
The writer noted that DJT's supporters were so blinded by regard for him that they would ignore this story. Nope. What we do say is this is idle gossip about harmless venting by folks who don't much like to make long trips in a closed space with a terrific host who does not want them to feel ignored or bored.
But, like everything else involving and surrounding the man, the snarky self-appointed village scolds are placing the worst possible slant upon it.
On another subject, I am still a baseball addict and hope we will talk about that subject again here as well - my Yankees and TC's Rays are currently involved in a close race for the lead in the AL East, and 101's Tigers beat the Mets last night in NYC. Woo hoo!
It's shaping up to be an interesting season with injuries and all, and here's hoping dustdevil will come back to talk about his Athletics along with other Outposters who chatted in the baseball thread too.
Well, time to do some shopping and chores. It feels so good to reconnect with you again here in this very hallowed special place on the 'net. Thank you again and again to 101 for creating it and keeping it going for lo these many years.
And again, my very best wishes to 101 and all of you and your families for a pleasant Memorial Day Weekend remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice so we could have the freedom to possess and enjoy all that we hold dear.

Absolutely everything you've said is true and why this story is too silly to have any credence whatsoever. The plug for FOX to be aired in foreign countries also renders it suspect. :-)
CNN, last I heard, is now owned by AT&T and I'm looking forward to some push by the public toward an "objectifying" and balancing of its news content, because so far, despite the steadily crashing ratings of its voice of the globalist funded Clinton machine, this behemoth of a telecom company has shown little inclination to order CNN's management cadre to entertain those concepts.
WaPo is now the vanity publication of a snowflake billionaire with no sense of history nor care for the public good. As the voice of the entrenched OBushton Swamp and Soros/Davos/EU elites, he has cast his lot with the ancient regime in denying we the people an orderly transfer of power to the leader we chose over theirs.
MSNBC is owned by the folks who released the Billy Bush tape for the Clinton machine and have never copped to it and has become so sociopathically conspiracist in its anti-DJT coverage that its credibility has imploded before our very eyes and irrevocably.
The NYT, once majorly owned by Mexican billionaire, Carlos Sim, famously, to my mind, had an op-ed writer demand of Bernie Sanders after his pre-programmed loss to Hillary, that he "get his rabble under control" and in step firmly behind her. This failing news organ has yet to back away from its in your face partisanship and continues as the voice of the globalist funded Clinton machine as we speak.
Meanwhile, polling has indicated that a goodly portion of Bernie's so-called rabble rallied around DJT and would further indicate that, if Sanders is whacked again by the DNC a/k/a the still extant and extremely powerful globalist funded Clinton Machine, they will return to DJT. The same will be the case for all other D candidates who fail to prove themselves as independent economically populist voices confronting the globalist elites.
And so far, that number is zero out of 24 and counting as we speak.

Thank you, Joe, for the brilliant and beautiful TR quote from a man who is so similar in history and person to DJT today - including being a brash New Yorker whose energy was boundless in pursuit of his objectives, not least of which was trust busting to advance the economic interests of we the people and the public good.

And, Joe, I do hope my return to the Outpost is a harbinger of success for your Rays and thank you for saying so! :-) With the fall of the Red Sox, TB has been able to ascend to the top of the division at long last. I even have a favorite Ray - Kevin Kiermaier (sp) whose sense of humor is as much fun to experience as watching his play.
I'll reboot our baseball thread soon, but will stop here with plans to spend the day in quiet remembrance of our heroes including joining in the moment of silence to express the thanks of their grateful nation at 3 pm local time.

Good Afternoon, Y'all! Just dropping in to post some thoughts after watching the Mueller resignation speech today. Until now, I had reserved judgment on Mueller given so many negatives about him from both sides, But today, he showed himself, indeed, to be just another swamp mutt licking at the crotches of the creeps who have yet to accept that their drunken old hag didn’t get her turn to gouge the public trough and make them all rich as Croesus besides. Insufficient evidence to make a charge of collusion that couldn’t be made against a sitting president. Inability to “exonerate” the sitting president on a charge of obstruction that couldn’t be made against a sitting president. And even though the official with the power to determine not to bring the obstruction charge has come down on that issue in DJT’s favor, Mueller said that “others” in the system, i.e. the rabid cohort of Ds who’ve been driving this travesty since the getgo, should take a shot at the president using that bullet. In a short few minutes at 11 a.m. today, the country was just given a dose of psychopathic word salad that will further feed the frenzy of the DC Establishment to drive DJT from office. An honest broker, Mueller is not. An honorable man – far from it. This guy wants the country to suffer the trials of Job for electing a man who promised to drain their putrid swamp, and he does not care at all about the result. I’m also pretty sure this little psychodrama was staged to dissuade the inquiry into the corruption that led to the fraudulent “charges” to begin with. DJT’s bargaining chip is to stop it, so long as Establishment DC sheathes its own dagger. We can be sure, however, given the low IQ contingent fueling this dreck, that Establishment DC will continue on its fool’s errand of bringing down its own government that has met and continues to meet only its own wants and needs. When he showcased his Comey ’16 act dispensing similar gobbledygook surrounding a decision not to prosecute Clinton - noting here that Comey made this recommendation despite having no power to do so after Lynch abrogated her responsibility based upon what I believe was a thoroughly Clintonian contrived "discovery" of her meeting with the Junkyard Dawg on that Phoenix tarmac - Mueller also failed to mention the "scales of justice" rule governing the finding of liability in civil cases or guilt in criminal proceedings, of which the general public is certainly aware. It goes like this – where the weight of the evidence does not tilt one side of the scale below the other, the verdict must be for the defendant, or in this case, in favor of the investigation’s target, DJT. So when Mueller says that he could not make up his mind on all of the evidence presented as to the actionability of an "obstruction of justice" charge, it was tantamount to an admission that the scales of justice remained unmoved and the decision had to be in DJT’s favor. Barr and Rosenstein recognized that principle and declared that no charge could be brought on obstruction of justice because the weight of the pro and con evidence would result in a wash, thus rendering the charge impossible to prove by the requisite degree of culpability. It is therefore clear that Mueller's "take this job and shove it" speech was intended to undercut the Attorney General's power to issue that decision. Because, when the pale, hollow eyed, clearly nervous and stuttering special counsel announced that "another group", i.e. the House Ds in Congress, would be able to "discipline" the POTUS because the DOJ could not do so based upon a 20 year old advisory opinion from the department's Office of Legal Counsel disapproving an indictment of a sitting president, he was both obfuscating the potential for a contrary OLC memo to issue in these times and circumstances, and leaving Barr open to the extant trolling from the rabid anti-DJT Ds that he is DJT's puppet and waging a cover up. And as one commenter noted, throwing gasoline on the left's implausible "impeachment" fire. Nonetheless, Mueller later recanted any suggestion that his opinion that DJT could neither be charged nor "exonerated" on obstruction - the latter concept also a word salady bastardization of his role and the law surrounding it - was not based on the custom that a sitting president could not be criminally indicted. All that being said, it is clear that there is insufficient evidence to support a charge of collusion and that the evidence of obstruction is as exculpatory as it is condemnatory, and would thus cause any "obstruction" redo by the loopy Nadler, Schiff and Co. to end in a wash. It would also become as big a waste of time and treasure as the Mueller probe that prevented DJT and the American electorate from receiving the peaceful transfer of power from the O administration to the Trump administration as guaranteed by the Constitution and as ruinous of his ability to fully exercise that power for the last year and a half of this term of his presidency. All of which leads to your inexorable conclusion that Mueller is an active member of the deep state whose work to either prevent or destroy a DJT presidency continues as we speak. Sadly, a presser on the Virginia Beach tragedy interrupted last night's Hannity program in which the investigatory work to uncover evidence proving the foregoing premeditated and failed coup was being discussed by various investigators and commentators like John Solomon, Greg Jarrett, Joe DiGenova, Victoria Toensing, Pam Bondi and others as to where their work and the IG's and Congressional investigations into this travesty will lead. Perhaps the remainder of the discussion was taped for an airing on Monday night's program, hopefully. Good Morning, Y'all! In light of recent events and to prevent inadvertent clicks onto the junk posts recently added to this thread, I'm posting some thoughts over the past few days. In my opinion, the “Squad” made utter fools of themselves by rehashing all the old lies they’ve been telling since they arrived in DC in their Monday presser. But all that dining out on trumped up charges obfuscates that this is not about race at all, but is the Emerald City surrounding the globalists’ plot to destroy this nation’s sovereignty and that of others in the West by any means necessary. The biggest lie of course is that the Squad and the Ds and Establishment DC are not racist. However, there is no other struggle of remote significance in the upcoming presidential race besides that of globalist v. nationalist throughout the Western world with these filthy racialist politics being the weapon to bully or shame us into accepting the planned serfdom it will inflict on all but the very few. Although, the globalists are learning like the remoaners in Britain that they will not work, and the targets thereof will come back stronger than ever! To counterattack it here, besides neutralizing, through Epstein, the Clingonista Machine that’s behind everything that has been inflicted upon DJT up to now, there must be a full court press to expose the Democrat, a/k/a the Ku Klux Klan party, that assured a free labor slave economy for the wealthy here on grounds that the slaves were better suited to work in the fields from the 17th through the 19th century, for creating a new form of wage slavery in the 20th and 21st centuries on grounds that masses of illegals will do jobs that American citizens do not want to do.
