There was a news editorial this week that some of the assholes we have in Washington who are masquerading as our representatives have added "pork" items to the recent spending bill for the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. How fucking low can these pricks get? And yes, I know that's mostly a rhetorical question!
Unfortunately, the editorial didn't print the names but I sure would be interested in finding out exactly who all of them are.

With only 1 or 2 possible exceptions (and I have no idea who THEY might be) every one of them is either a Democrat or Democrat Lite fiscally.

Sailor, you are either very naive or in denial if you think that only Dems do this crap. The list of assholes who adds "pork" to serious spending bills includes MANY (if not mostly) mainstream GOP politicians.
Or do you think that Rep. Jack Kingston, a leading Republican conservative, is actually a Dem?
Or do you think that people such as Don Young (House Transportation Committee Chairman) is really a GOPer?
The other asshole from Alaska, Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) is the GOP leader in the Senate and he is the current king of pork" in that wonderful Senate body.
And it was not that easy for him to take the title. Former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-Miss.) once landed $657 million in pork for research projects on shrimp aquaculture, and wood utilization. This for Mississippi, a small backward state--at best!
In fact, according to watchdog group CAGV, Alaska is the LEADER per capita in using tax dollars for pet pork projects. Probably just a coincidence that GOPers such as Young and Stevens are from Alaska. Right?
Might be time for you to wake up Sailor.
