I don't understand this issue at all. There is overwhelming public support for reform of our borders. But no politician wants to take it on because they will lose the Latino vote. So once again, our representatives are selling America out for their own political careers. IMHO, lock them all up and try them for treason.

I am constantly frustrated when I see Bush talking about protecting America, than in the same breath he talks about programs that will only weaken our borders. Over at THC I believe either Retire or Sailor posted about a group of civilians who have volunteered their own time to watch the border and report illegal crossings to BP. Action like this maybe needed if our elected officials continue to avoid this issue.

This is our country. If congess refuses to take any real action, we have the obligation to take matters into our own hands. They cannot stop us, and any attempt to do so would be opression, and no one should live under that yoke.
