Look a little closer guys. This is just a fucking "window dressing Lookee at what we did" kinda thing that does NOT address the real problem at all - The Fucking Illegals.
This is just another "fuck with the law abiding to make them think we are doing something" law.
Gee, I'm beginning to sound like Packer. Oh my GAWD! ;D ;D ;D

Even the most staunch Republicans have to admit that President Bush has completely dropped the ball on the Mexican border issue. Damn straight FF, I'm NOT a Republican. I'm a Conservative, and today there is a BIG difference between the two. Hey, FYI I got a look at some shots of the F-22 at a Nellis airshow doing the (tame) flight demonstration. I swear that bird HAS AFTERBURNERS. I know you said it doesn't, but non-afterburning engines don't show bright orange and nearly white exhaust gasses. After I get home I'll try to pull up a link to the photos for you. Later.

I hope you caught the sarcasm in the original post. The new "tighter border" policy will require US CITIZENS to show a passport to re-enter the country. EARTH CALLING WASHINGTON!!! IT AIN"T US FUCKING CITIZENS YOU NEED TO BE WORRIED ABOUT, GODDAMMIT!!! Will someone please fire the genius SOB who thought this one up?

Hey Sailor - haha I know you aren't a kool-aid drinker. I wasn't talking about you specifically when I said staunch Republicans. I was talking about Republicans who generally defend the president (like those who are serving now). Even they have to admit that the president has completely screwed up the immigration issue. BTW, the Raptor most definitely has after-burners. However, one of the stipulations was that it had to fly Mach 2 without after-burner so as to keep its stealth capability. Can you imagine the AF making a jet fighter without after-burners? Good luck finding a pilot who would fly that thing.... Still, I'd love to see the pics ;D

EARTH CALLING WASHINGTON!!! IT AIN"T US FUCKING CITIZENS YOU NEED TO BE WORRIED ABOUT, GODDAMMIT!!! Will someone please fire the genius SOB who thought this one up? Yo - folks working in the American consulates in Mexico and along the border have wanted this for years. All it took to cross the border as as Amcit (American Citizen) was a drivers license or state ID and a birth certificate. Both available on line. Do a google for state IDs. You can buy one anywhere. Or steal them from the Gringo in the bar. I spent some time trying to determine if folks were Amcits or not. Folks from all over the world would show up and say they were Amcits and got robbed. No one on the other side to call and send verification. And given the pure pain in the butt attitude of some folks - real Americans btw who think that everyone should just know that they are Americans - folks waste a lot of time and effort trying to assist people who couldn't bother getting passports. If you have a passport, it is in the system and can be brought up. It's a long overdue change. The best way would be for Mexico to require Amcits to have passports to enter. But Mexico refuses to do that because it would negatively impact on the flow of its illegals. So the US finally made the move. Amcits will still be able to enter if they've lost their documents if they can demonstrate the baiscs. But this is a serious blow - if ever implemented - to the flood of illegals. Most come across on bad documents and not in the desert with coyotes. IMHO of course

Your information helps to clarify things a bit Lor. Gracias. I still think they should put up a G** D***ed Israeli style fence. "Good fences make good neighbors."
