If anyone ever deserved to die for his crime it's this bastard. Lunsford may have been buried alive Officials: Couey confessed to investigators (CNN) -- A convicted sex offender facing capital murder charges in the killing of a 9-year-old Florida girl told investigators he buried her alive, law enforcement sources told CNN Friday night. John Evander Couey, 46, who officials said confessed to the crimes, is charged with capital murder, burglary with battery, kidnapping and sexual battery on a child younger than 12. Couey has a 30-year criminal history, and his case prompted more debate over the rights of sexual predators. www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/04/09/lunsford/index.htmlAnyone disagree with me?

I'm generally against the death penalty; however, I have no patience for child molesters.

Remember when taking candy from a baby was considered reprehensible? Who could have imagined that men would one day be raping and killing them with such regularity?
And who could have ever imagined that such criminals would ever be let back out onto the streets to repeat their crimes?
"Progressives" look at what has never been and ask, "why not?" Conservatives look at what is and ask, "How in the hell did this happen?"

www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/04/20/florida.killing/index.htmlI don't want to hear any crying or whining about the death penalty or "rights of the accused." The son of a poxed bitch confessed. I've got a rope and I think we can find a tree. No drop, no broken neck, let him strangle on the end of the rope.

If this guy doesn't get death by hanging, who would qualify?

Would folding, spindling, and mutilating be considered cruel and unusual? How about just spindling? On a pike!

Remember, Sailor, he's in the South. Now all the libs will tell you that we Southerners know how to hang someone. Well waddayaknow, so am I - about 12 hours driving time from where this animal is caged. But ya know, over the last 1500 years or so we sailors have developed a technique for hanging an individual who we think needs it. We run a whip line through a single block at the yard arm. One end is in the hands of about 6 stout seamen, the other is tied in a hangmans knot with the loop placed around the guest of honor's neck, he is standing on deck. At the signal the line handling party "walks away" with their end of the whip line, hoisting the guest of honor up to the yard by which point he notices he is having trouble breathing. Done properly (or should I say improperly) it'll take several minutes before oxygen deprivation renders him unconscious, all of it in agony as the SOB strangles. Death may take 15 minutes or more. No drop, no broken neck or crushed trachea. As I told Chiswick/Bobbie on several occasions, in some matters I am not a nice person. Murdering pedophiles get no mercy from me.

Sailor, how about a keel hauling party on a CVA? or any wide berth ship of the line

Sailor, how about a keel hauling party on a CVA? or any wide berth ship of the line That'd be all right I guess, though the trip is long enough he'd drown less than halfway through the first pass. The way to do it is to make the trip last only about 3 to 4 minutes under the keel of a ship well fouled with barnacles (hard shell mollusks, sharp edges on the shells.) A short trip like that means that the SOB doesn't have time to drown (unless he deliberately does it to himself, most won't,) and the sharp edges of the barnacles will seriously lacerate and abraid the skin, but not fatally. Usually keelhauling was fatal only on the 2nd or 3rd trip under the ship - exhaustion, blood loss and sharks attracted by the blood were the usual causes. And there is a chance the barnacles will part one or both lines and the SOB is on his own, and the ship won't stop to pick his ass up if he manages to make it to the surface. I like the thought though Remey. Nothing but the best for our pedifile friend.
