I was stuck in traffic yesterday, listening to the news on ABC radio.
The newscaster was reporting on the weekend attacks in Iraq. He was pretty straight up until he closed the story with (paraphrased) "The attacks offer stark proof that the insurgency is growing stronger, not weaker. "
THAT"S NOT REPORTAGE! THAT"S A GODDAM EDITORIAL!
For the luvva Christ, if you're gonna be a FUCKING CHEERLEADER, How about cheering for OUR fucking side.
Somewhere, Tokyo Rose is smiling.

I wonder what the reporter thought of the 100 insurgents slaughtered buy our guys near the Syria border? Probably thought we were incoraging more to join their ranks. "Dang Americans, why can they just stand up take a bullet and say 'thank you sir, may I have another.' " Guys like that are idiots. They seem to think you can that you should be able to take over a country, re-build it and have it all go smoothly. Anything less than that must be viewed that we were wroung and the people didn't want change. |
