Many here are familiar with the Pat Tillman story. He was the NFL player who turned down a 3-year 3.6 million dollar contract to join the Army shortly after 9/11.
Tillman later died due to friendly fire in Afganistan. The Army has bungled relaying news of this to his parents. The probe may allow us to see if any Officers knowingly lied about Tillman's death.
