"When the abortionist finishes a suction D & C, he has to open a little suction bag and he has to literally reassemble the child. He has to do that because he wants to make sure he didn't leave anything behind." "I remember getting called down to my chairman's office because a young lady that I had done an abortion on showed up, and the abortion had been incomplete. I had not done my job right, and she passed an arm or a leg and she freaked out because she didn't realize what had happened." "As a doctor, you know that these are children; you know that these are human beings with arms and legs and heads and they move around and they are very active. But you get reminded -- every time you put that scanner down on somebody's uterus -- you are reminded. Because you see the children in there -- hearts beating, arms flinging." --Anthony Levatino www.prolifeaction.org/providers/How can anyone attempt to justify this awful practice and still feel as though they are doing the right thing? I am sick of the excuses and people trying to explain to me that our babies are just as much human as a cow or property.

You do understand I hope, that even if Roe V Wade is overturned abortion will still be legal. It will again be an issue left up to the states to regulate and control.
While some of the "Red" states may actually make routine abortion beyond the first trimester or even from conception illegal, most will simply add a few restrictions or limitations or "notification" steps. And most of the "Blue" states will simply carry on as usual and also accept patients from states where restrictions make the procedure inconvenient or even unattainable.

The left has a disinformation campaign to scare people into believing that overturning Roe v. Wade is making abortion illegal. This has been widely accepted as the truth. Overturning that supreme court decision would save some lives. I believe it could be overturned in the next five years. Is this realistic or just hopeless optimism?

That's how it was before Roe v Wade. Each state had their own abortion laws. The reason I remember this is because Michigan had just turned down a proposal to legalize abortion by more than 2 to 1 before the Supreme Court crammed it down our throats anyway. Before that I don't think I cared about abortion one way or the other, but I have been against it ever since.

The whole thing about Roe vs Wade, is that it overruled states rights to begin with.
