Wasn't that something? I didn't know Letterman was such an asshole. He's just like those dickheads on THC - he just "knows" 60% of what O'Reilly says is crap, although he never watches him. Probably reads that left wing smear site, Media Matters, which is the FIRST thing the morons on THC will drag out if you ask them what somebody like O'Reilly said.

"Dave's rhetoric had more appeal it seemed though. "
What would you expect from an audience of his adoring fans,
I'll take Leno any day.

"Dave's rhetoric had more appeal it seemed though. " What would you expect from an audience of his adoring fans, I'll take Leno any day. Exactly. Not only do I find Leno funnier than Dave, he's obviously got more humility. And both times he's had Bill on, he was very respectful. They had a great discussion, devoid of condescension. Letterman is an idiot.

Letterman's show has been riddled with Bush criticism's the last couple of years. I'm honestly surprised they invited Bill to the show. I guess we can see why Opera was upset.
Leno is better in my opinion. Headlines is a much better skit than the top ten.

He's usually dressed up as somebody when Jay does the Jeopardy skit. And I enjoy that guy who impersonates President Bush. He's really good.

Like most anti-war liberals, Letterman went back to the old "Bush lied", "Why are we there", etc. BS that everyone else uses.
Who gives a shit why we are there. We are there. Get over it.
O'Reilly really nailed it. I haven't watched his show in a while but what he said were my feelings 100%. Although mistakes have been made and we all underestimated the insurgency, this is a pivotal point in American and Arab history. America can either tough it out and ensure that democracy takes hold in the region or we can go home with our tail between our legs and watch as the new democratic Iraq fails.
Petty and stupid attacks like "Bush lied" isn't helping anyone. It is in every American's interest to ensure that the job gets done over there. The fucking retards in the anti-war crowd don't realize that if they got what they wanted (for us to leave right now), they would be destroying America's ability to intervene in other countries in the future. Not to mention the huge psychological victory that it would hand AQ.
This job in Iraq is too important to be left up to the spine-less cowards in the Democratic Party. This job MUST be done right. I don't even want to imagine a world where American troops are kicked out of Iraq by petty terrorists. The loss of prestige would be enormous and we probably wouldn't be able to recover for a long time.

I have to say, O'Rielly did pretty well for himself, and never lost the crowd. He didn't get upset, he kept his cool. Letterman got all emotional and showed bad form, if he didn't like O'Rielly, he should never have had him on his show.
It IS important to ask WHY we're there, and if it becomes all too clear that a conspircacy occured, the people involved need to get arrested, however, we'll still have to clean up the mess regardless.
One last thing, there isn't a war on christmas, O'Riellys a joke.

Kevin, grow the fuck up. You sound like that idiot tankey when you start bashing O'Reilly.
And that woman is frothing at the mouth as we speak. Belongs in an asylum.

Letterman just isn't funny. I didn't like him before the debate, and I don't like him after. It's not live, and it's like a regular show- completely scripted, etc, etc.
I like Jay Leno a lot, though.
I haven't seen the Bush impersonation guy. I know the SNL Bush impersonater sucks cock, but Darrel Hammond was great as Bill Clinton.
