He must have stepped off the "reservation." Oops, I mean, "plantation." Oops, I mean... NEW YORK — Iraq war veteran Paul Hackett, who gained popularity for his staunch criticism of President Bush, has dropped out of the Democratic race for U.S. Senate in Ohio, according to a published report. Hackett told The New York Times for Tuesday's editions that the same party leaders who urged him to run for Senate after his political debut in a House race last year had turned on him. www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,184750,00.html And one other thing... the way I remember is, he was claiming to be Bush's best friend (at least on the national level), not staunch critic.

Bob, I laughed like hell when I heard this on FOX this morning. Just a month ago, Hackett was using that far-leftwing rhetoric, comparing Bush and team to Bin Laden and the Taliban.
I guess it didn't work out for him!
Moral of the story: Never trust the Democrats!
I think I'm going to go post this article on THC.
