Freedom is not free. If there is one lesson in our History, it is that the joys of Liberty are paid in blood by each generation. We should not question nor doubt the sacrifices offered upon this altar by our countrymen, but instead wonder why such a toll is only paid for by the few.
Those who exercise freedom won by the sweat and blood of others are not free. They are simply protected. They rely upon more honorable and couragous men to defend them from the terrors of the world. They have offered nothing to society and have not furthered it in any way. The men of the Armed Forces and of the civil service have made this country free.
We should consider that this vast Nation was won and defended by only a handful of brave men. We should consider the infinite possibilities of an entire people mobilized for the cause of Liberty. What foe or obstacle could tempt the might and wrath of a Free People?

Our Nation is on the doorstep of History. We have been endowed with the unique capacity and ability to pursue our ambitions with minimal resistance. By our nature, we are a kind and giving people. We alone maintain the strength and determination to eradicate Evil.
But such a crusade requires the mobilization of our people and resources. It requires the education of our youth, the independence of our powerful economy, and the formation of ideological unity. But most importantly, it requires the fulfillment of duty by a loyal and energized people.
Idleness breeds tyranny. A country of paupers and sloths will never be free. They will be the slaves of loan sharks and entertainers, dazzled into servitude. To energize our people, therefore, requires a sustained committment to our duty as a free people: the liberation of the oppressed and the destruction of Evil. Our Liberty demands our eternal vigilance.
America's Liberty can only be paid for by our blood and our sweat.
