The Sunnis are taking a serious risk of losing it all, walking out of the Constitutional Convention and depending on being able to defeat it in 3 of the 4 districts they control.

Sailor, I doubt they will have that much difficulty - their districts only came in with 2% average polling in January, so when the people are advised to vote against the 'federalist' and 'non-Arab' document I wouldn't expect more than 2% being in favour. The real 'ni**er in the Iraq woodpile' is Al Sadr. If he really gets going against it then don't be surprised to see it fail in at least one Shi'ia district.

'ni**er in the Iraq woodpile' You're going to let a few asteriks hold you back from expressing how you really feel?

'ni**er in the Iraq woodpile' You're going to let a few asteriks hold you back from expressing how you really feel? Type the n-word and see what happens.

What is your problem, DLotC? Since when did you become a card-carrying member of the ACLU?
I placed the asterisks because I am sensitive to some people's aversion to seeing it written in full - but also because it is probably subject to the filter - but I am not going to bastardise a figure of speech that I used in a correct context; that has been in common use for centuries and that is neither abusive nor insulting to any individual or group when used in a correct context.
If you really have a problem then you should reconsider your 'handle' - Dark Lord of the Chris - because that reeks of the exact same figure of speech!
Last, the 'n-word', as some call it, is still in common use in ebonics, in films, on the tv and radio, in blogs and other places including the dictionary!
Get a grip! You are supposed to be an adult - act like one.

Get a grip! You are supposed to be an adult - act like one.You are supposed to be an adult as well. So - you should be mature enough to know what words are appropiate in public discourse and which words are not. Now my handle certainly does not refer to any form of a person's color. But your usage of a word known and accepted to be inappropiate sure does. Every swear word is also found in movies, blogs, and the dictionary. That by no means makes them acceptable in public discourse. So - you want to use words that are inappropiate in public, expect to be called on it.
