I wouldn't f--- with the Russians. I've read about their retailation in Chechnya and elsewhere Russian citizens have been harmed.
I can only wonder what their response to this will be.

There were some Soviets kidnapped in Lebanon years ago and the Soviets made a few "examples" of what might happen and their people were freed. They won't mess around, and I'm sure they still have contacts in the region.

Whatta ya wanna bet a couple of mullahs show up with 2 each 9mm holes in the backs of their heads? You kill 2 of ours, and 2 of yours end up dead...an effective, if harsh, form of diplomacy.

Russians do not care about public opinion. Their approach to terrorism and kidnappings are different in compare to western countries and US. They are not affraid to use maximum force and they are willing to accept higher casualty rate. When they kick butt, everything will shake. I do not totally agree with their tactics, however in some cases situation demands harder measures.

I like it! :-) There were 4, 3 shot and 1 beheaded according to the media release. "No bag limit" should apply to terrorists IMHO. I don't care if its the Russians or Iraqis or us that gets 'em, just get 'em. |

Russians will get even. Putin himself said that Russia will strike terrorists even if their are outside their borders. I don't like Russians, but they have effective way to deal with terrorists and they don't care what the world will say.
