I don't have the link for this one, but yesterday the U.S. conducted a strike in Somalia that targeted AQ leaders who were responsible for the '98 bombings of our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed 250 people, and are also responsible for bombing a Israeli owned hotel in Kenya in 2001. I haven't heard anything yet on whether the strike was successful and one can only hope that it was.
With a peacekeeping force needed and only Uganda and I think Tanzania each volunteering 1000 of their forces, will the actions of the US undermine any future efforts to stabalise and get the country under the control of the TFG?

That's great David. Geez, I can remember when you just posted about her being born. Time has a way of slipping. As for me, same old same old. I live in the DC area right now. I bet you anything Yarta's never actually been to Somalia...she's some rich warlords first daughter from his first wife that has spent her life in west...kinda like Arafats has. What cracks me up is how she used to go on about the superiority of the Somali civilization...like there is such a thing.
