I have spent the last four years or so on the internet arguing with liberals and atheists. I have stayed away from conservative forums because I figured that would be too much like talking to myself. According to my hypothetical wife, I do entirely too much of that as it is. (My wife doesn't want me talking about her on the internet, so I always refer to her hypotheticaly.)
But change is good, or so I have been told. From what I can tell, you guys are not exactly my identical clones, so maybe we can find something to argue about. Of course, we may agree from time to time; but hopefuly not all of the time. What fun would that be?

Welcome to the board.
Most of us here are History Channel expatriates who got a bellyfull of having our posts deleted.
We'll occasionally squabble among ourselves but generally you'll find that you'll be treated respectfully if you conduct yourself respectfully.
If you know of any left-leaners, feel free to drag them on over. There has been a shortage of cat toys around here of late.
Regards.

I'm not familiar with THC, is it connected to the one on cable TV? Never mind, we don't have cable either. Funny though, that you should mention having your posts deleted. I've never had that happen, but several liberal forums in which I have participated went out of business shortly after I argued everybody to a standstill. Coincidence? I think not!
I finally started my own forum so that I would always have a place to call home, but traffic has been slow after an initially promising start up. Then I got into ProBoards Support, which is a forum about forums. Most of it was too technical for me, but they did have a large General Talk board, which I finally figured out how to navigate. Then I began to encounter occasional difficulty in posting my messages. The "post reply" button would lock up and I couldn't post anything. I called this to the attention of the administration, who claimed that it was all in my head. They finally suggested that I update my browser, which I did. The problem then started to increase in frequency, until I couldn't even post messages to the staff or send PMs either. I finally gave up and took my act back on the road.
And you wonder why a guy gets paranoid!

Talks with Beagles, you mean you've never been to the THC? Oh you have just got to check it out, don't let the moonbats scare you. Sometimes I feel like a miner, walking through a cave with a torch, causing irritation among the flocks of moonbats, as I go past. History Channel: Current EventsThat's the board that everyone around here checks up on. I also check the Operation Iraqis Freedom forum. A number of us here have our spots over there. You'll laugh you'll cry, you may become addicted, or you may be so uninterested that you never return. Keep a light heart and it can be fun like plucking chickens. Here everyone is fairly laid back you can say anything you want here, unlike over at THC. Unless of coarse your just to ignorant to adopt a civil tone. Those who spew only abuse are reprimanded repeatedly warned then warned again before 101 would even consider banishment. Then Banished the idiot for only a month. Before I was banished from the THC they would erase my posts for no real reason I could honestly think of..So after awhile I just posted whatever I thought. Really got hooked on that then I ended up here. Ya a bunch of THC junkies is what we are. So feel free to say whatever. Hey if you have any posts over at your site that you think may be of interest post a link. Me I had been banished to the nether world just as I washed up shore here. I enjoy exploring the world of ideas and politics then arguing about it. What do you like to post?
