commonsense told me I was a faceless coward too afraid to properly introduce myself. Ok, I'll take the bait. Hi Everyone, my name is D-ranger. I am a 42 year old man living in the heart of the left coast. I am currently on break from school, and have nothing better to do than come here sporadically and take potshots at you ignorant, narrow-viewed ultra right wingers. In my spare time I also like to go to my local range and blast the crap out of targets with my Colt Gold Cup National Match .45, mountain bike, read, surf the net, go for long hikes on impossibly steep terrain, run, and spend time with my beautiful girlfriend. I am retraining for a job in the healthcare field because I lost my job due to the outsourcing that is taking this country down the drain. Just remember, no matter what I say to y'all, I love all my fellow human beings, misguided though many of them may be, and I never take anything said to me personally -- that's for suckers. ;D

You sound like a Rightwing extremist, so what's the problem?

I'll bet you cold cash that I work for a "pinker" organization that you do. Only a salaried ACLU employee can out Left me. My top boss is black, female and was formerly a provost at Stanford. Let's see yours.

Well hell, a guy who likes to shoot a .45 and spend time with a good looking gal can't be all that screwed up.
Welcome aboard d-ranger.

Hi everyone. Hope your holidays...er...CHRISTMAS was great, and a Happy New Year to everyone here too. Sorry about the slip at the beginning. PLEASE don't get Billy O'Reilly after me! Mario: Yeah, go figure, huh? Commonsense: Thanks. No I don't. How's the discussions over there? LorSpi: You mean Condi "Mushroom Cloud" Rice, the closeted lesbian and concert-level pianist? Nice pic -- which one is you? Sailor: Thanks. Yeah, I'm only a little bit screwed up. And I bet we both bleed red too. Far Rider: You are definitely a stud; single speeding is real tough stuff. You ever try clipless pedals? battleborn: Thank you. 101ABN: Thank you! I promise to try to be a good boy.

"101ABN: Thank you! I promise to try to be a good boy."
Much better likelihood you'll stick now that you're actually posting something.
It'll be more fun, you'll see.

Let's see yours. Lor, I met your boss in October at National Review's 50th Anniversary dinner. It's funny, a few weeks prior, I spoke to her personal assistant and she wanted to know who else was attending the event. I told her Vice-President Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. She then wanted to know how much press would be there! She said that Dr. Rice's schedule was pretty busy, but that she'd like to show up for at least 15 minutes during the cocktail hour, you know, just to show her face. Press coverage is very potent factor in political success, especially if one has Presidential aspirations. You think Dr. Rice is interested in running for President?

Far Rider: You are definitely a stud; single speeding is real tough stuff. You ever try clipless pedals? Yeah, I have. It's just that these platform pedals have not worn out yet. Singlespeeding is probably more mental than physical, I would say. Once you have the right gear ratio in place, you really have to concentrate on when to get out of the saddle on climbs and such. It's a lot like ringing the bell at the county fair - more timing and finesse than brute strength. But it really impresses people when you say you can do it. You should try it. I am going to convert my road bike to fixed gear this year.

Commonsense: Thanks. No I don't. How's the discussions over there?Discussions can be ok but the moderators get WAY too delete post crazy around there. I asked because most of the people here came from THC and I couldn't match you up with someone on that site. I would recommend not wasting your time over there though, it can get frustrating.
