A couple of friends kept telling me that the internet is the new THING and at my age you gotta stay up with the changing world.

You never know...I'm a little bit suspicious.

Willow, if you are genuine and sincere then the skepticism may seem odd, but we have had more than our share of infiltraitors from another board who have tried to pass themselves off as something they are not. The tone of their intros were curiously similar to yours. They come here to spy and then criticize us elsewhere. This little hole-in-the-wall gang all know at least one or two people from somewhere else, and every person who has said they just found us and were not refered by a friend turned out to be one of those spies.

So...if your story is true, just post and be patient. You have nothing to be worried about. You'll be welcomed more and more in due time. If you are someone we already know and are trying to hide the fact, beware...we are pretty adept at fingering the moles.
