Hello, ladies and gents. I know I've been away for a while, but Mrs. Juvenal gave me big news recently.
We're having a baby!
Won't know till late next month whether it'll be a boy or a girl (I call him "he," the Mrs. calls him "she"). We're very excited here.
I thought those of you who know me might want to know.
Talk to y'all again soon.

Thanks, Mario. Yes, it didn't take us very long did it? Let's see: We got engaged April before last, married last November, conceived in March, and the baby's due in December. What can I say? My seed is strong! Mrs. Juvenal is now my parents' favorite in-law, at least until my brother's wife conceives, or one of my other brothers decides to get married.
How are things going up in the City, my friend? How's your education coming along?
Mrs. Juvenal and I are actually planning on a trip up there, possibly this time next year. Her little sister is graduating from high school and she's a drama student and a Broadway fanatic (I still think she's a good kid, in spite of that), and we wanted to treat her to a short sojourn in Gotham. It all depends on whether we can save the money and find some arrangements with the grandparents to take care of Jr.
Happy days, and let me know what's going on with you!

Looking at the tittle of the thread I figured some punk kid that was sleeping with his teacher got her pregnant. Congrats Juvenal on the blessing on the way. My Brother and Sister-in-law should be having their's around the August/ September time frame. For some reason they don't want to know until the day of the birth what sex the child is. Have either you or you wife considered that?

I'm dying to know! I keep asking her if it's a boy or a girl and she keeps tellig me she doesn't know. She's supposed to have an ultrasound at the end of July, and I don't think I have the discipline to keep from finding out.

You should take her down to Radio City Music Hall. I haven't been back there since my run-in with Congressman Charlie Rangel over there several years back. Just being in the presence of that man is enough to make an otherwise sane person to go mad. I'm expecting to go on a job interview later this week for a Republican consulting firm. I'm leaving my job as a manager at a academic center after 5 years there. Hey, if you do actually come up, get in touch with me. I'f our schedules comport, I'd like to treat you guys to lunch or dinner. If you don't already have my email address, let me know and I'll give it to you. Take care.

Thanks, everybody, for all the kind words. I'll let you know whether it's going to be a young Mr. Juvenal or a young Ms. Juvenal as soon as I know.
Take care!
