Hey guys, to quote Robin Williams from one of my favorite nonsense movies, The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen.
" I'm back! I got lips again and I'm gonna use 'em, baby! "
It's me Tittus (Dave) I'm between semesters and have been very busy. Working hospice counseling with Alzheimer's and loving it.
Glad to see everyone is alive and well. Merc, did any of your boys get reactivated?

Merc, did any of your boys get reactivated? Missed you, Dave. And like a typical Mom...I was a bit worried about you. So glad to know you're doing well. Hey, so far no. Greg is finally inactive, Pat still has to finish his IRR, but he's in his first year of it, and next year will be his last. I read that (as of now) Marines who are in their first or last year of IRR are exempt from being called up (I'm sure there are exemptions though), so, I suspect Patrick will not be called up. He's got a managers position at an Aeropostale store in the mall in Manhattan, KS. So he's pretty busy with his new job and enjoying that.

With the current shortage and man-power needs I was concerned. Nick is going through a terrible divorce. Stacy (cousin that flew in Iraq 2004-005) is free and his wife just got back. Mike is out but would like to go into the USNR but as a trained combat cop he is sure that he would be sent.
Other than that we are alive and well. I am contemplating taking a position at UMKC to earn my psychology doctorate in Alzheimer's. Not one of the local universities have a program in grief and Alzheimer's. My dilemma is how important is the "Doctor Dave" to me at 54? I will be 57 or 58 before I could earn the title. Sheese.

are you still a polisci major? Have you worked with the NYRC?
I am still formulating that letter to the editor asking our local Representative "Rev. Emanuel Cleaver" (a Southern Baptist Minister and Democrat) why the Democratic Party has chosen to villanize and alienate those of us of faith. I mean, that my faith prevents me from voting from someone who would force me to accept abortion as a viable means of birth control, that homosexuality is a normal behavior, and that my freedom to speak the name of Christ is now considered hate speech. Where are the Democrats of Faith who would not vote for these political correct moral issues? Where is the Democratic Party of my grandfather?
I look at the OT and see where God destroyed both Israel and Judah when they allowed the political correctness to dictate their faith and worship. The quasi-Christian Left like to remind us the "Jesus is Love" and "tolerance" but seem to not understand that the same man of love also said that he came to bring a sword and to divide father from son.
I am truly becoming afraid that your senator will be our next president and it scares me spitless.

Are you still in DC?
Nick, our AC1 tells me of the newer aircraft and I am impressed.

I've actually been hired by a Republican consulting firm here in NYC, Dave. I'll be starting soon after my vacation to Pittsburgh.
Call me overly optimistic, but I don't think the majority of this country is stupid enough to elect Hillary President.
I think a Thompson-Guiliani would prove formidable. Hopefully the Republicans will play it smart.
Take care.
