, what we know as the bill of rights
became the law of the land.
On this day, very few Americans know that it is the birthday of our Bill of Rights. Even worse, too many are either confused by their meaning, their origins or the efforts to take them from a divine right monarch and codify them for all individuals. too many just wish to ignorantly permit their down fall by meddling political agendas.
It is sad to ponder upon just how far we as a nation have fallen.

Mario or can I call you Eddie.
Unfortunately, the poverty pimps, ie liberal democrats, have people believing that providing for the general welfare, which was never defined as the welfare state or to provide welfare generally, is the only right that those that want the free ride need to know.

But what does New Orleans have to do with the Bill of Rights?
Sorry, I just had to. It is a sad state of affairs that there are those who cherry pick from those first 10 ammenments in an attempt to interpret what was written to further their political goal of a socialist state.

Whatever happened for those who were willing to fight for their freedom, yet now it is an expected "right" We have the freedom because of the blood sweat and tears of our righteous forefathers...

The Poverty Pimps have effectively displaced the word FREEDOM with EQUALITY. A "1984" excercise which has effectively taken hold in Government Schools. Websters defines the two words differently.

Excellent point Youngstown! My two granddaughters are in a private school. I'm amazing what a 6 year old can learn in a class of only 9 kids paying $10,000.00 each per year. Is it worth it? I'll let you know when one or both of them graduated from Yale University.
