When we dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki radiation filled the sky. Okinawa being South of Japan had some of the worst thunderstorms in their history. My dad lived outdoors with the rest of his men. He spent three days outdoors in pouring, radiation filled rain. He survived the war, however he did contact leukemia. He died in 1950. God Bless the old guy. He lived long enough to conceive me. Cataracts
