As strongly as I felt when our Vietnam Unknown was interred, I absolutely agree that IDing his remains and returning them to his family was the right thing to do. I don't believe it was motivated by any ill will from the Clinton administration Advancements in DNA testing make it likely that there will not be another "American Soldier, known but to God" interred at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Returning the MOH also honors the 2000+ who remain MIA and unaccounted for, also the right thing to do, IMO. Very much so is my remark to your final sentence. The only thing worst than a politican is one without a sense of history!
