CVN-75, the "Give'm Hell" HARRY TRUMAN. DAMN!! Even considering it's made out of Leggo's that is an impressive piece of work. I'd have to go down to the Naval Station and look at the real thing to see any real mistakes. This guy must have been stationed aboard her at one time. Hey, don't knock it Sarge. I build model ships for Radio Control as a hobby, though nothing as large or intricate as one the size of this Leggo monster would be. Some of the guys in our club have though: groups.msn.com/EliteFleetofVirginiaBeach/thefleetsphotos.msnwThat ALFA class sub was built by the same guy who built the ALFA for "Hunt for Red October." The hull was cast from the same molds. My own next project will be the first ship I served in, USS CARON, a Spruance class destroyer.

Now don't get me wrong Sailor. Honestly I think the CVN model and the Radio control ones are very cool. By the way, I was at Ft Eustis before coming over here and may be going back for the Advanced NCO course after we redeploy. It really hinges on when they have a class open and when my wife is OK with another seperation....Man, since August 2004 I've away from home a total of 16 months...I think I'll take a months leave when I get home...

"Now don't get me wrong Sailor. Honestly I think the CVN model and the Radio control ones are very cool." Well, Mrs likes it 'cause between the computer and the ships she can be sure I'm not getting into any trouble. Wives who can put up with long separations are pure gold buddy. You've got a real "keeper" there. Take that 30 days and spend some of it treating her special. I've seen cases where the wife would wait just long enough for the ship to take in lines and get underway for a 6 or 8 month deployment and then commence the partying with every swinging dick she could find, or high tail it to a lawyer and file for divorce before the poor sap is 50 miles off shore.
