Finally reached the end of my break-in period today...feels like just a few days ago that I was only at 500 miles but I put a shit-load on these past two weekends.
In honor of reaching the end of my break-in, I had my first WOT tonight. I was riding home on the highway from my friend's house (just got back a few minutes ago) and while stopped at a red light, a biker brother pulls up next to me....we look at each other and know what's about to happen. Second the light turns green we both WOT but he messed up his shifting and so I won....was quite proud of myself. We had a few races before settling down and just cruised. Mind you, this was at 0400 and there was literally no one else on the road.
No more stupid 6K RPM....time to have some fun....
