Not that I should be making fun of other people for lack of skills but come on this is just retarded.... If he were hangin off correctly, he might actually get a knee and some elbow down there

www.sportrider.com/ride/RSS/146_0310_motorcycle_riding_position/ I probably do something between position 1 and position 4 for the street. I do not...hang off in the exaggerated sense even for the track. I shift my ass and torso off center line of bike in the direction I will be cornering. Not all corners are the same, so is the amount I shift my body weight off center to the inside of the turn. The sole objectives for me are to: a. Primarily maintian proper control of my machine of feel and feedback from the road. At extreme hanging off...I cannot. b. Lower and bring the GC of my bike to the inside of my corner...even ever so slightly. c. Allow my bike to remain a little more upright through the corner for maximum tire traction. There are times I do "push" my bike down increasing its lean angle...I do these as tests for a particular speed vs angle vs traction tests to help me maintain a constant awareness (knowledge) of when the tires may begin loosing traction. I know I've artificially induced an extreme lean angle so if/when the rear/front tire(s) begin sliding I can very easily just correct... Position 1: Position 2: Position 3: Position 4: Dunno though...it's been a while sense I've viewed myself...you've seen me. What say you?

Well the problem with the guy in the picture is that he's gettin off the bike fine but its the wrong direction. If he were leaning properly (e.g. off the right side) he'd be gettin some knee on the ground. It's amazing that the bike is even upright at this point.
I'm pretty close to position #2. I stick my knee out to give me a warning but I don't have pucks so I don't try to drag it.
Remember when I asked you why you didn't get off the bike? You shift your weight but it doesn't look like you get off at all. Not like we needed to though considering the speed that we were going at.
I actually wish I had been in DC this weekend cause it was really nice. Hopefully we'll get some random nice weekends throughout the winter.
